Co-operation with the subsidiary body of the Convention and expert groups

Cooperation with the Task Force on Emission Inventories and Projections (TFEIP).
The main goal of this collaboration is to improve the existing emission data on HMs and POPs, and to assist Parties to the CLRTAP in reporting of HMs and POPs emissions. Joint TFEIP/MSC-E Workshop on emissions and emission factor estimates was held in Moscow, Russia, in November, 2001. Materials of the workshop are summarised in MSC-E Technical Note.

Collaborative work with the Coordination Center for Effects (Working Group on Effects).
Preliminary modelling and mapping of critical loads for cadmium and lead in Europe can be found in joint CCE/MSC-E report. MSC-E has also contributed to the report of the Task Force on Health Aspects with regard to health risks from long-range transboundary air pollution by POPs.
